A SCARCE .730 FLINTLOCK SERVICE-PISTOL, UNSIGNED, MODEL 'M1763', no visible serial number,
with brushed bright tapering iron 9in. barrel, solid top-tang, plain flat bevel-edged brushed bright lock (no trace of signature, some pitting), walnut three-quarter stock with smooth swept grip and semi birdshead pommel, the side-cheek stamped 'No 5', iron furniture including pommel-cap, 'L' shaped sideplate and twin-banded nose-cap (further pitting), replacement iron ramrod
